Scarves
Yazma is the term applied to the traditional textile materials used in making these cotton scarves, in which designs and the colors are either painted by hand or printed by means of carved wooden blocks. This technique developed in Turkey as a peculiarly Turkish Folk art, the finest examples of which beling to the sixteenth, seventeeth and eighteenth centuries. Anatolia remained the center of the yazma industry though many civilizations. The colors in these yazmas display a beautiful harmony and taste. The designs are either basedon nature, sometimes take the form of flowsers springing from a single stem or scattered over the surface of the material. There are also yazmas that are silk-screened.

Wraps & Ponchos
These fashionable wraps are 100% acrylic, and are designed specifically with your comfort in mind. Unlike other wraps or ponchos, which are worn over the head, these Wraps are extremely practical as they are open in both the middle and sides, providing you with the utmost freedom of movement! They are light weight and reversible (either side can be used). One size fits all.

Bags & Packs
Tapestry backpacks and bags are 60% cotton, 20% acrylic, 20% polyester. Warm water wash. No fading or wear. The purses have two compartments, a zippered part, and one without zipper. The backpacks have one front pocket, and non-slip, adjustable tapestry shoulder strap.

All backpacks, purses and bags are made of high quality tapestry of medium to tight weave, woven on Jacquard looms. Theme for the designs is carefully selected from among a large variety of traditional Turkish rug (kilim) motives. They are specially made out of bright colors.

Beads
Blue eye, or evil eye is a superstition known in many cultures, including the Anatolian culture. It is believed that a person who stares fixedly at another person or a child, or, a person who is too admiring or affectionate may produce a malicious effect on their lives, whether or not by intent. Many individuals wear protective Blue Eye Beads, Nazar Boncugu, i.e. amulets or charms to nullify its effects. In Turkey, Nazar Boncugu is used to protect newborn babies, houses, cars and even animals from mysterious staring eyes, by absorbing, popularly believed, evil powers of "jealousy." The expression often used is "May God Protect You from the Evil Eye.".
